Common Problems Why Hard Disks Crash

There are many reasons why the hard drive has crashed:

(1) may be caused by mechanical or physical problems, such as the failure of the spindle motor system. This error is usually caused by overheating. Blink activity you see on your CPU (central processing unit) indicates that its head moves to different tracks. If this movement fails, can not read or write data. Remember, a hard drive is a piece of hardware, not software. This is amagnetic device for storing data, reads and writes data during execution.

(2) No system of logic (logical drives partitioned designated as C, D, E, F, G) can be caused by but not limited to the corrupted system files, corrupt firmware, registry hives and virus infection. Spyware, adware and other malicious files can also cause hard disk crash.

TIPS:

(1) If the activity flash, but the computer does not start, if applicable, your fileintact on the hard disk, but inaccessible - this may be the result of the failure of logical system. Try booting from a floppy or use the startup disk that came with your system.

(2) If there is a flash activity on the CPU and the system will not boot (obviously after having checked all the cables are "on"), then it is probably a mechanical problem. And note that if the system BIOS (Basic Input / Output System) can no longer recognize the hard drive, then the physical and mechanical properties of the system that has failed.

The good news is, usually, in today's technology on hard disks, if this problem occurs, it will normally be vigilant and on guard before the bombs, so it might be an opportunity to run immediately to get your file. And there are many data recovery tools available on the market today. But sometimes it is cheaper to replace the repair of the hard drive (unfortunately).

TIPS & TRICKS TO AVOID DISASTERHappen:

1. Keep your hard drive healthy by running Disk Defragmenter at least once a week (preferably every two weeks)

2. Run anti-virus program every day! Run spyware / adware removal tool at least once a week (there are many available for free download). Please also update all of these tools and programs! Turn off your firewall and pop-up blocker, protecting you from intruders!

3. Delete all unknown emails, clear your mass e-mail spamimmediately.

4. Delete all temporary Internet files (including all offline files)

5. Install all the necessary updates on your computer

6. Be very careful when downloading files from different sites (firmware usually fails because of this)

7. Last, but not on the list - taking back-up hard disk on a removable disk or tape as a serious task for you to do at least once every day or once a week, especially if you use it for commercial purposes!
