Building a Home Theater PC (for Cornell Solar Decathlon)

Cusd.cornell.edu *** *** This video shows the construction of a Home Theater PC. E 'was built by me and other members of the Cornell University Solar Decathlon Team Engineering Controls. The computer uses a Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz, a 128GB solid state drive and an Nvidia GeForce 9300 GPU chipset embedded in her 730th. The media has served as a home server. This computer is built with the following design goals: EFFICIENT Power Usage:Performed using a low wattage CPU, a solid state disk drive, a power supply certified for 80 + and a motherboard with energy saving features. Extremely quiet: it uses a Solid State hard drive vibrations, two silent 120mm fans and an efficient structure to eliminate the event. HD Experience: Integrated GPU offers HDMI-HDCP video output is enabled at full HD resolution, while reducing heat and power consumption due to the lack of video card, Ethernet Gigibit allows streaming of contenthome home media server, 3 GHz CPU offers enough space for video decoding. This HTPC will be used in competition Cornell University Solar Decathlon in October 2009.
